Improved specifications and features give the N5181/82B MXG and N5171/72B EXG superior performance:
- Improve Product Designs. Test new technologies, including 802.11ac WLAN. The new MXG and EXG models boost bandwidth over the previous MXG and ESG models. The new MXG provides a lower cost, one-box solution for testing 160 MHz bandwidth with ±0.2 dB flatness.
- Reduce downtime and cal costs. With a 50% longer calibration cycle of three years, the new MXG and EXG reduce downtime and calibration costs over the life of your instrument.
- Migrate to the new platform without rewriting and qualifying code or recreating waveforms.
The new MXG and EXG have been optimized for backward compatibility with previous-generation instruments. You can also reuse waveforms with no rework and continue your current test plans.
